For almost two decades, Lextra Know-How Technology was transferred in trust to Chris Kay Ltd., in Kinsale, Ireland under an exclusive License Agreement. When Chris Kay Ltd. was acquired by ITW Graphics in 2006, we agreed to transfer the Lextra License and proprietary know-how to ITW Graphics. By September, 2008 due to several breaks in trust that enabled us to license ITW Graphics, it became necessary to terminate the Lextra License at that time.

For 30 years Brown Abrams and his associated have done everything possible to be a (small) company that is responsible for doing what it says it will do, for Playing Fair and By The Rules. This is the only way in a civilized society we are able to manage businesses that operate in an ethical, predictable and fair manner - with clear and functional understandings between people and companies.
Likewise, many participants in the business of sports—of football (soccer) especially –around the world have maintained and communicated a great respect for authenticity, originality, and the rights of others—Fair Play! It is for this reason that we would like to make a special appeal to loyal and appreciative fans of Lextra world wide to avoid supporting the unauthorized Lextra-Copy products and to insist on only supplying original Lextra Brand Flocked Heat Transfers for your programs. WHY?
Unlike the producer of Lextra Copies, we at FiberLok are committed to a rigorous ongoing new product development program that has yielded stunning results. There are now about 50 products in the Lextra Technology Portfolio offering many choices for aesthetic and functional options. Special adhesives that adhere to rubber, plastics; unique combinations of materials offering stunning mixed-media designs; LextraStretch that is thinner, softer and will stretch 200% with 96% recovery; and much more. All these new developments are made possible by revenues generated through sales of genuine Lextra Flocked Graphics products—and not by Lextra Copies which contribute nothing to the game while lowering the quality bar and at the same time "appropriating*" the Lextra Know-How.
Where does your company want to be? What do you want to stand for, creation of the original or in support of mis-appropriation of Know How that is the property of others? A special, and personal from Brown Abrams, thanks to those of you who elect to Play Fair for your support of genuine Lextra; and your investment in authenticity will continue to benefit you for many years into the future!
*"Appropriating" from dictionary definition:
